In 1996 the town of Hopkinton purchased a large parcel of land known as the Terry Property. A group of Hopkinton residents had the foresight to realize that a piece of history would be lost if the farmhouse and barn located on the property where not saved.

Hopkinton’s love of the arts has led to the collaboration of Enter Stage Left Theater (ESL) and the Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) to combine resources in undertaking the goal of forming a multi-generational center that offers a place where the community and artists can intersect. The Hopkinton Center for the Arts will serve as a haven for both performing and visual artists. Plays, art exhibits, concerts, as well as a variety of instructional classes for all ages, would find a permanent home on this historic Hopkinton landmark.
